“After many years working in the floral industry, it was time to open up my very own brand in Ashburton Mid Canterbury.
In 2017 my store opened and I haven’t looked back.”

Samantha was born to become a florist as her middle name happens to be Rose, and this is where it all began. From a young age, Samantha had always been a very creative person, and when it came time to leave high school, she discovered a floristry school at the Christchurch Academy. It was here she studied full time floristry, achieving excellent grades, and went on to work in floristy shops in Christchurch, also moving to Australia to broaden her floristry skills.

On her return home from Australia in 2013, Samantha launched her own floral styling business in Ashburton, initially working from home.  As time went on, her brand became more recognisable around the district. It was the best decision Samantha made when she said “yes” to taking on the lease of a building on Burnett Street in the CBD of Ashburton, where Samantha Rose Flowers is situated.

“It has been an amazing opportunity to have created my very own studio. It is fresh, new and modern, and just what Ashburton needs. I love creating beautiful, modern bouquets and arrangements for all occasions.  I look forward to keeping up with the constant changes in the floristry styling industry”.
